The summer of 2016 was my last summer as a teenager. And I decided to document that. In this little book you will find my memories of faces, thoughts, moments and questions that I saw in the people closest to me and myself. Being young is a mystery to me. And while I question everything I do, I still try to do as much as possible. I feel like we’re all searching for a sense of meaning, or at least a way to spend our time. My desire is to preserve the sense of people’s lives, to endow them with the strength and beauty I see in them. These photo’s are both an experiment and the celebration of reality, of life, of my friends, of actual daily life that passes and is gone tomorrow. We don’t pay attention to it when it happens.
